The death of Mrs. James. H. TAYLOR occurred at her home four miles southwest of here Wednesday evening at 7:30. The funeral will take place at 1 o'clock. Rev Doellefeld, pastor of the Lutheran Church here to be in charge.
Edith M. STEIN was born in Hoyelton Township ,Washington County, Illinois, March 2, 1882 and was 33 years and 29 days old.
She was married to James H. Taylor, February 22,1900 in Hoyelton Township, Washington County at the home of her parents, William and Emily Stein, The couple came to Clinton County a short time after their marriage. They moved to the place where her death occurred about 8 years ago. Four children were born to the union of which one is dead and three living, all sons. Her husband with them is also left to mourn her loss. Besides the aged mother of the deceased, Mrs. Emily Stein, of this city, three sisters and one brother also survive: Mrs. Ellen BACKS of Wade Township, Mrs. Ora Taylor of Carlyle, Mrs. Emma BARTH of Centralia, and August STEIN of Wade Township.
