Truman Orrell, 93

Truman T. Orrell, 93, of Salem and formerly of Posey, died Nov. 19th, 1995, at Doctors Nursing Home in Salem.

Born in Posey on Dec. 25th, 1902, he was a son of Albert and Celia Orrell. He married Irene Boatright and she preceded him in death in 1966. He then married Anna York and she preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Shelby Orrell of Lisle and Garold Orrell of Salem; three stepsons, Walter and Floyd York of Centralia and Kenneth York of California; four grandchildren and, two great-grandchildren; one brother, Doyle Orrell of Ft. Meyer, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Jennie Johnpeter of Aviston; and one half-sister, Mrs. Garnelle Schafer of Mattoon.

Mr. Orrell was a self-employed grocer. He was cremated. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

The Rankin Funeral Home in Salem was in charge of arrangements.
