Marie Meisenheimer, 81

Mrs. Marie Meisenheimer, 81, of Chester, mother of Harold Meisenheimer of Carlyle, died at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Greenville on Sunday, Jan. 24th, 1999. Born in Marion on Nov. 11th, 1917, she was a daughter of Harry and Leona Pearl Gurley Hedge. She later married Crockett Adolph Meisenheimer. He died in May, 1958.

Survivors include two sons, Mr. Meisenheinier of Carlyle and Charlie Meisenheimer of Vandalia; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Signaigo of Pensacola, Fla., and one brother, Roy Hedge of Carterville.

Before retiring, Mrs. Meisenheimer had been director of Randolph County Housing Authority. She was a member of the Elks Club and First Presbyterian Church in Chester.

Rev. Dan Patterson officiated at services held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery in Chester.
