Maurice Mainer, 90

Maurice Laverne Mainer, 90, of Centralia, a brother of Archibald Cecil Mainer of Hoffman, died at Centralia Friendship House on Thursday, Dec. 23rd, 1999. He was 90 years old.

Born in McClure on Dec. 20th, 1909, he was a son of John William and Hattie Parlee Craig Mainer. He never married.

He is survived by two brothers, Mr. Mainer of Hoffman and Fred E. Mainer of Centralia; three sisters, Mrs. Vela Wike of Joliet, Mrs. Elaine Piercy of Arvin, Calif., and Mrs. Peggy Jackson of Centralia, with whom he resided. He was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Marvin, Melvin, William and Lawrence Mainer.

Mr. Mainer attended Jacksonville School for the Deaf and was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Centralia.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30th, at Lindsey cemetery in McClure, with Rev. Nathan Melvin officiating.

The Osborn Funeral Home in Dix is in charge of arrangements.
