Anthony Lampe, 71

Trenton resident Anthony A. Lampe died Monday, Jan. 11th, 1999, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. He was 71 years old.

Born in Aviston on Jan. 22nd, 1927, he was a son of George and Rose Rakers Lampe. He married Dolores Rues in Trenton on Nov. 29th, 1951, and she survives.

Besides his widow, survivors indude two sons, Donald Lampe and Dale Lampe, both of Aviston; four daughters, Mrs. Patricia Becker and Mrs. Diane Mueller, both of Bartelso, Mrs. Mary Schildroth and Mrs. Nancy Koelz, both of Aviston; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Lampe of Aviston and four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Welters of Aviston, Mrs. Marie Litteken of Charleston, Mrs. Bernice Von Hatten of Highland and Mrs. Isabelle Holtmann of Albers.

Mr. Lampe had been a crane operator at B-Line Systems in Trenton, before retiring. He was a member of Trenton American Legion, Sportsman's Club of Trenton and Internation Association of Machinists in Alton.

He also was a member of St. Mary's Church in Trenton where Rev. Louis Studer, OMI, will officiate at services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14th. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) and from 8 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday.
