Alvina Kruse, 87

Breese resident Mrs. Alvina R. Kruse died at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese on Jan. 13th, 1999. She was 87 years old.

A daughter of August and Pauline Thole Gerling, she was born in Germantown on June 5th, 1911. She later married Robert Kruse in Breese. He died on Aug. 27th, 1951.

Survivors include three sons, Robert and Thomas Kruse of Beckemeyer and Paul Kruse of St. Charles, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Alberta Garcia of Beckemeyer; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A member of St. Augustine's Church in Breese, her funeral was held there at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16th. Rev. Steve Poole officiated with burial following in St. Augustine/St. Dominic's cemetery in Breese.

Visitation was at the Hempen Funeral Home in Breese.
