Richard Krausz, 61

The funeral of Richard Harry Krausz of Shelton, Wash., will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4th, at the Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden. Rev. Gretchen Sterrett will officiate with burial in Greenmount cemetery in New Baden.

Mr. Krausz died at Mason General Hospital in Shelton on Nov 25th, 1998. He was 61 years old.

On April 16th, 1937, he was born in Mascoutah township, a son of Harry and Irene A. Knobeloch Krausz. On Feb. 8th, 1991, in Reno, Nev., he married Sharon Smith, and she survives.

In addition to his widow, survivors include one son, Scott Henry Krausz of Seattle; three daughters, Kimbell Ann Krausz of Seattle, Kerry Lee Baker of Yuma, Ariz., md Krista Lynn Krausz of Bothell, Wash.; three grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Krausz of Granite city and six sisters, Dorothy Schanz, Helen Mueller and Violet Schroeder, all of Mascoutah, Blanche Rensing of Nashville, Roselyn Altman of New Baden and Carol Schlechte of Staunton.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3rd.(Wednesday) and from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday.
