Evelyn Klein, 87, of Trenton, died Friday, July 7, 2000, at Countryside Manor in Aviston.

She was born April 23, 1913 in Madison County, Illinois, daughter of Joseph and Margaret, nee KUNZ, JENNINGS, and they both preceded her in death.

She married Clifton Klein September 7, 1936 at Lebanon, and he died October 22, 1983.

Other precedents include a brother, Ralph Jennings, and two sisters, Verna Jennings and Iva CARVER.

Surviving are a daughter, Audrey (Glenn) KIRSCH of Trenton, and a son, Richard (Mary ) Klein of Trenton, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Klein was the former owner and operator of the Trenton AG Store, and was retired from Highland Supply.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton.

The funeral was Monday at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton, the Rev. Mark Buck officiating. Interment was in Trenton Cemetery.
