Irene Kohnen, 77

Seventy-seven year old Miss Irene M. Kohnen of Germantown died at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese on Saturday, Jan. 9th, 1999.

A daughter of Theodore and Ann Wobbe Kohnen, she was born in Germantown on April 18th, 1921.

Two brothers, Clarence "Stevie" and Theodore Kohnen of Germantown; one sister, Mrs. Regina Wolbert of Germantown and nieces and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Aloys, Vincent, Raymond, Gregory and Lawrence Kohnen and one sister, Mary Ann Kohnen.

Miss Kohnen was a retired supervisor at the Scott Air Force Base Hospital gift shop. A member of St. Boniface Church in Germantown, her funeral was held there at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12th. Rev. Vincent Haselhorst officiated with burial in the church cemetery.

The Moss Funeral Home in Germantown was in charge of arrangements.
