Richard Jansen, 70
Life-long Germantown resident Richard B. Jansen died Saturday, Nov. 25th, 1995, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. He was 70 years old. He was born in Germantown on April 18th, 1925, a son of Joseph and Frances Gesenhues Jansen. On June 13th, 1950, in Germantown, he married Florence Kohrmann and she survives.
Other survivors include two brothers, Gerald Jansen of Germantown and Fr. James Jansen of Fairview Heights; and two sisters, Sister Dolores Marie Jansen of Maryknoll, N.Y., and Mrs. Helen Henken of Germantown.
Mr. Jansen was a mechanic for Jansen Chevrolet in Germantown and a member of the Germantown American Legion.
His funeral was held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, Nov. 28th, at St. Boniface Church in Germantown. Rev. Vincent Haselhorst and Rev. James Jansen officiated with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation was at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
