Ryan Gudinas, 13

Ryan J. Gudinas, 13, of Breese, and his father, John Gudinas, (see separate obituary) died in a fire at the mobile home of John Gudinas in rural Trenton early Sunday, Sept. 13th, 1998.

A son of John W. and Karen Schrage Gudinas, Ryan was born in Breese on May 8th, 1985.

Survivors include his mother and her fiance, John Burris of Breese; brothers, Colby Gudinas of Breese and Austin Burris of Troy; grandparents, Darlene Schrage of St. Rose and John and Jacquelyn Gudinas of Trenton; and great-grandmothers, Velma Hitz of Breese, Leona Koenig of Trenton, and Constance Gudinas of Highland.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Schrage, and great-grandfathers, Leo Hitz, William Koenig and John A. Gudinas.

Ryan was an eighth grade honor student at Breese-Beckemeyer grade school. He played baseball in the Breese Little League.

Rev. Robert Flannery officiated at joint funeral services for Ryan and his father at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15th, at St. Mary's Church in Trenton. Burial was in the church cemetery.
