John Gudinas, 37

John W. " Frank" Gudinas, 37. of Trenton, and his son, 13-year-old Ryan Gudinas, (see separate obituary) died Sunday morning, Sept. 13th, 1998, in a mobile home fire in rural Trenton.

Born in East St. Louis on Sept. 6th, 1961, he was a son of John E. and Jacquelyn Koenig Gudinas. On Dec. 7th, 1984, in St. Rose, he married Karen Schrage and they divorced.

Survivors include his parents of Trenton; one son, Colby Gudinas of Breese; one brother, James Gudinas of Pueblo, Cole.; five sisters, Joan Gudinas of Trenton, Janice Spradling of Marion, Jennifer Desai of Houston, Tex., Julie Seed of Richmond, Va., and Jacquelyn Gudinas of Champaign; and grandmothers, Mrs. Leona Koenig of Trenton and Mrs. Constance Gudinas of Highland. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Koenig and John A. Gudinas.

Mr. Gudinas was a 1979 graduate of Wesclin high school. He was a truck driver for Trenton Coop. He was a member of the Trenton Sportsman Club.

He also was a member of St. Mary's Church in Trenton where Rev. Robert Flannery officiated at services held at 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15th. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Visitation was at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. Memorials may be made to his son Colby's education fund.
