Henry Winkle, living 7 miles northwest of Breese, died, on the 21st inst., from the effects of poison. It is supposed he committed suicide. Dr. Kneipman held an inquest, and a post-mortem examination detected the presence of a deadly poison in the stomach, though the investigation did not go far enough to reveal what that poison was.
