Died, on Wednesday, January 4th, 1871, Mrs. Eliza Roper, wife of John B. Roper. Mrs. Roper was on a visit to her married daughter, Mrs. Hunter, who lives in Centralia, when she was taken with the illness which resulted fatally. The afflicted family and relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of the numerous friends in this town, who have nown the deceased so long, esteemed her so highly.
