Rev. Dan Friedman officiated at services Saturday, Jan. 4th, at 10 a. m. at St. Francis Church in Aviston for Ms. Rose Mary Holtgrave, 75, of Aviston. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Ms. Holtgrave died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese on Dec. 31st, 1996.

A daughter of Joseph and Christina Lengermann Holtgrave, she was born in Aviston on Jan. 22nd, 1921.

Before retiring in 1984, Ms. Holtgrave had been a legal secretary for General American Life Insurance Co. in St. Louis. She was a co-member of the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross of Breese.

The Brefeld Funeral Home in Aviston was in charge of arrangements.
