Homicide. Last Wednesday night Mr. William Finley, living in East Fork Precinct, gave a dance at his residence, and a portion of the guests became rather noisy. Mr. Finley attempted to quell the noise, and got into a quarrel with a man by the name of Johnson. The latter stabbed Finley, in the groin, from the effects of which he died on Saturday. Johnson was brought before Esquire Sharp, for an examination last Saturday night, and sent to jail, on charge of murder to await the trial, at the March term of the Circuit Court.
