Fatal Accident. Last Thursday night, at 8 1/2 o'clock, the Cairo Accommodation Train ran over Peter Daily, about a mile West of town, crushing and mangling one of his legs in a horrible manner. A hand car was sent to the spot, and the unfortunate man was brought to the depot, where he died of his injuries about 12 o'clock that night. Daily was seen about dusk walking out on the railroad, in a state of intoxication, and it is upposed that he laid down upon the track and went to sleep.
