MAN KILLED: On Saturday as the 4 o'clock freight train was stopping at the depot, a man by the name of Caspar Herman Hager, was attempting to pass under the train, it moved along, cutting off both arms below the elbow and one leg. He died at 7 o'clock same day. Persons should take warning and not attempt to pass under a train when an engine is attached to it. Deceased was a resident of St. Louis.
