Claude Gambill, 63

Former Keyesport resident Claude "Dean" Gambill died Nov. 21st, 1995, at his home in Altus, Okla. He was 63 years old. A son of Claude L. and Lillie Mae Orrell Gambill, he was born in East Fork township on July 22, 1932. On Sept. 1st, 1955, in Fukuoka, he married Gloria Motomura and she survives. Additional survivors include his mother of Carlyle; one daughter, Mrs. Janet Black of Travis, Calif.; four sons, Thomas Gambill of West Point, N. Y., James Gambill of Broken Arrow, Okla., Kenneth Gambill of Wichita, Kan., and Robert Gambill of Crestview, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Betty Elliott of Keyesport, Mrs. Velma Wade of Kimberling City, Mo., and Mrs. Karen Siegelken of Troy.

Mr. Gambill retired from the U. S. Air Force in 1972 and then worked as a mechanic.

Rev. John Vidakovich officiated at services held at 2 p.m. at Zieren-Day Funeral Home in Carlyle on Saturday, Nov. 25th. Burial was in Duncan cemetery near Keyesport.
