Funeral services for Robert "Bob " Brown of Carlyle, are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 15th, with burial following in Carlyle cemetery.

Mr. Brown died at Memorial Hospital in Belleville on Tuesday, April 11th, 2000, after a brief illness. He was 51 years old.

A son of Kenneth and Fern Cole Brown, he was born in Breese on July 14th, 1948. He married Dixie Hoffmann and she survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Shelly Brown of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Mike Brown of Centralia and Chad Brown of Carlyle and one brother, Wilson Brown of Carlyle.

Mr. Brown was a carpenter with Local 480 in Freeburg.
