Ada Yardley, 94

Ninety-four year old Mrs. Ada B. Yardley died Sunday, Nov. 14th, 1999, at Carlyle Healthcare Center.

Born in East Fork Township on Jan. 3rd, 1905, she was a daughter of George and Ella Fox Hicks. On Dec. 13th, 1923, she married Floyd Clyde Yardley. He died Sept. 26th, 1986.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Helen Nolte and Mrs. Anna Belle Dixon, both of Carlyle and Ada Mae Klueter of Troy; two sons, Herbert Yardley of Shattuc and Melvin Yardley of Huey; 32 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchiIdren.

She was preceded in death by four sons, Edwin in 1945, Roy and Charles in 1951 and John in 1972.

Mrs. Yardley was a Gold Star Mother. She was a member of the Boulder Methodist Church.

Services were held today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle. Rev. Ray Long officiated with burial following Pritchett cemetery near Boulder.
