Erna Tyberendt, 69

The funeral of Mrs. Erna A. Tyberendt of Carlyle will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16th, at Salem Lutheran Church in Salem with Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Paradise cemetery in Salem.

Mrs. Tyberendt died Tuesday, Oct. 13th, 1998, at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. She was 69 years old.

Born in East Fork township on March 11th, 1929, she was a daughter of Richard and Anne Twenhafel Redeker. On Nov. 19th, 1950, in Ferrin, she married Paul W. Tyberendt and he survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Marcella Tyberendt of Centralia; two brothers, Richard Redeker of New Minden and Luther Redeker of Centralia and three sisters, Wilma Maschhoff and Eunice Hausler of Hoyleton and Berry Thusius of Annapolis, Md.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbert and Orville Redeker.

Mrs. Tyberendt was a former employee of Moran Shoe Company in Carlyle and was a nurse's aid at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia from 1970 until retiring in 1997.

Visitation is at the Day Funeral Home in Sandoval from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15th and from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday morning and then at the church from 9:30 a.m.
