Helen Timmermann, 92

Mrs. Helen A. Timmermann, 92, of Beckemeyer, died Monday, April 12th, 1999, at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese.

Born in Beckemeyer on Nov. 13th, 1906, she was a daughter of Herman and Gertrude Fehlker Lammers. On Oct. 28th, 1930, in Beckemeyer, she married Herman Timmermann. He died June 12th, 1982.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Virginia Winkeler of Beckemeeyer, Mrs. Bernice Deehake and Mrs. Gertrude Loepker, both of Germantown, Mrs. Bernette Beckmann of Bartelso and Mrs. Leona Thole of St. Rose; two sons, Leon Timmermann of Caseyville and Don Timmermann of Bartelso; 31 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Kampwerth of Beckemeyer.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph and Joseph Timmermann; one daughter, Mary Ann Gerdes; two grandsons, Virgil and Glenn Deerhake; two brothers, Vincent and Leo Lammers and one sister, Sister Adeline Beer.

Mrs. Timmermann was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Beckemeyer and Ladies Sodality of the Church. She also was a member of Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle #718.

Rev. Steve Poole officiated at services held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at St. Anthony's Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
