Frank Brandmeyer, 73

Frank H. Brandmeyer of New Baden died at his home on Saturday, July 14th, 2001. He was 73 years old

Born in Lookingglass township on Oct. 4th, 1927, he was a son of William and Wilhelmina Rensing Brandmeyer. He married Doris J. Wuest in Belleville on June 29th, 1949, and she survives.

Other survivors include four sons, Tom and Denny Brandmeyer, both of New Baden, and Steve and Jeff Brandmeyer, both of St. Louis; three daughters, Judy Fuehne of New Baden, Mary Lozier of Collinsville and Angie Delrich of Belleville; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Brandmeyer of Damiansville and George Brandmeyer of Belleville and two sisters, Henrietta Brandmeyer of Belleville and Marie Netemeyer of Albers.

For 39 years, Mr. Brandmeyer had been an employee of New Baden IGA.

He was a member of St. George's J Church in New Baden, where Msgr. James Blazine and Rev. Joseph II Schrage officiated at services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17th. Burial was in Resurrection cemetery.

The Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden handled arrangements.
