Virginia Haas, 79

Life-long Trenton resident Ms. Virginia "Jean" M. Haas died Monday, June 19th, 2000, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home in Aviston. She was 79 years old.

A daughter of Mary Baer and Frank Haas, Sr., she was born in Trenton on June 2nd, 1921.

She is survived by two brothers, William Haas of Caseyville and John Haas of Carlyle; two sisters, Mrs. Loretta Holubek of Trenton and Margaret Woher of Wardsville, Mo., and nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Frank Haas, Jr., and Arthur Haas and one sister, Flordina Kern, preceded her in death.

Ms. Haas was employed at Bussmann Fuse Company in St. Louis for 45 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Trenton and the Altar Sodality of the church.

Services will be held at St. Mary's on Thursday, June 22nd, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) and from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday, at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
