Dies Wednesday, Rites Here Saturday

Mrs. Ida May SCOTT of Carlyle died last Wednesday evening at the Yew Nursing Home in Odin 10 days before her 94th birthday.
The 93 year old mother of six children had lived at the home for about six months.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Zieren-Day Funeral Home and burial was in the Carlyle cemetery. Graveside rites were conducted by the Carlyle Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Scott also was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge 583 and the Old Brick School Association.
Six Children Survive
She was born in Carlyle township Feb 25, 1866, a daughter of Joseph and Colia NICHOLS WILTON, and was married to Charles H. Scott here Jun 5, 1889. Surviving are the six children, Mrs. Ella COLLIGNON of Knoxville, Tenn., Rolla Scott of Beckemeyer, Joe Scott of Owensville, MO, Glenn Scott of Beckemeyer, Mrs. Arthur (Lois) BECKEMEYER of Carlyle and Floyd Scott of Detroit, Mich. Three other children died in infancy.
Also surviving is one brother, Nichols Wilton of Carlyle, 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
