Funeral services for Paul Coigny were held Dec. 10, 1988 in the Zerinday Chapel, [sic] Carlyle, Ill. with Otis Brown officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were John Strotheide, Gary Carrillon, Harold(Sonny) Strotheide, CarlHediger, Don Schubert and Leonard Carrillon.
Interment was in the Green Cemetery, Carlyle,Ill. [sic]

Paul Coigny, son of the late Oscar Coigny and Elsie Hull Coigny, was born Dec. 26, 1908 in Illinois and died at the Salem Memorial District Hospital Dec. 7, 1988 at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 11 days.
Paul was married to Elizabeth Krost and to this union one daughter was born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Elsie Coigny.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of the home in Salem, one daughter, Saron Lee Coigny, St. Louis, one sister, Helen Strotheide, Salem, one brother, Louis Coigny, Belize, Central America.
Paul professed a faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith, however he attended the Church of Christ at Jadwin.
He moved to Salem from Carlyle, Ill. and had made his homeonthe farm in the Jadwin community for 31 years.

Former Carlyle resident Paul Coigney of Salem, Mo., died Dec.7th in Salem.
A son of Oscar and Elsie Hull Coigney, he was born Dec 26, 1908. He married Elizabeth Krost, who survives in Salem.
Other survivors include one daughter, Ms. Sharon Coigney of St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Helen Strotheide of Salem; one brother, Lois Coigney of Belize in Central America.
Mr. Coigney's funeral was held at1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Zieren-DayFuneral Home in Carlyle.
Burial was in Green cemetery of Carlyle [sic- see note above].
