MRS. MIDDENDORFF RITES FRIDAY AT DAMIANSVILLE

Mrs. Mary Middendorff of Damiansville died Tuesday, Nov. 24 after an illness of six weeks. She was 77 years of age.

She was born in Damiansville, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Wolter Santel and married Ben Middendorff on April 23, 1903. He preceded her in death in 1935.

Surviving are four children, Bill of New Baden, Elizabeth, George and Arnold of Damiansville; four grandchildren; four brothers, Frank of Caseyville, Henry of New Memphis, Luke of New Baden and Tony of Damiansville; two sisters, Clara Broeckling of New Baden and Elizabeth Rensing of Damiansville.

Funeral services were held at St. Damian's Church Friday with Rev. Joseph Kiefer officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
