Dorothy M. Haselhorst

November 26th, 1924 - October 25th, 2006

Dorothy M. Haselhorst, 81, of Trenton, died Wednesday, Oct. 25th, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

Born Nov. 26th, 1924, in Beaver Prairie to Julius and Cecilia Dumstorff Laux and they preceded her in death. She married Stephen Haselhorst on April 4th, 1945, at St. Felicitas Catholic Church in Beaver Prairie and he preceded her in death on Oct. 28th, 1980.

Surviving are her children, Daniel Haselhorst of Trenton, Tom Haselhorst of Herndon, Va., Gary Haselhorst of Glen Carbon, Donna Johnson of Breese and Sandy Timmermann of St. Rose; 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sisters, Bert Voss of Breese, Eleanor Voss of Breese and Helen Kniepmann of Melbourne, Fla.

Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Tim Haselhorst; and a brother, Leonard Laux.

She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Sodality, Trenton VFW Post 7983 Auxiliary where she was the current president and a lifetime member, and the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Oct. 28th, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Vincent Haselhorst and Fr. Jim Dougherty officiating.

Burial followed in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton.

Moss Funeral Home in Trenton handled the arrangements.
