Aloysius H. Albers

Aloysius H. "Ollie" Albers, 77, of Germantown, died Thursday August 20, 2009, at Countryside Manor in Aviston.

He was born December 15, 1931, in Germantown to John B. and Mary (Wobbe) Albers and they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by a brothers, Gregory "Doo" Albers, Virgil "Virie" Albers; and sisters-in-law, Bernice Albers and Helen Albers.

Surviving is a brother, Edwin (Jenny) Albers of Beckemeyer; sisters, Rosie (Joe) Kohrmann, and Marie (Bill) Winter all of Germantown.

He worked at Timken Rail Bearing in Carlyle for over 20 years and Krey Packing Co. in Belleville. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed cards and spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his companion dog Tipper. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, and the American Legion Post 325 in Germantown.

A Funeral Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 24, at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating.

Burial followed in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Moss Funeral Home in Germantown handled the arrangements.
