Lucille F. Scott, 79, of Carlyle died Wednesday, August 5. 2009, at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla.

She was born in Belleville on July l3, 1930, the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Huene) Gebke. She married Charles Glenn Scott on November 27, 1947, at St. Anthony Church in Beckemeyer and he preceded her in death on February 12. 2001.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Rakers and husband Steve of Carlyle; three sons, Terry Scott and wife Nancee of Breese, Randy Scott of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Gary Scott and wife Julia of Trenton: a sister. Sharon Schewe and husband John of Carlyle; a brother, Jerry Gebke and wife JoAnn of Carlyle: grandchildren, Lori Ziegler and husband Michael, Neil Scott and wife Susan, Jerry Scott and Cara Scott; step grandchildren, Clinton Gebke and wife Megan and Jennifer Kuhl and Husband Brian; and five great-grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Mary Church in Carlyle. Mrs. Scott enjoyed being with her family and friends and camping.

A Mass of Christian Burial will he at St. Mary Church in Carlyle on Wednesday. August 12, at 11 a.m, with Fr. George Mauck officiating.

Burial will follow at Carlyle Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle on Wednesday from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
