Dorothy Siddell

Dorothy Mae Siddell, 66, of Huey, died Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born on May 29, 1943, in Vernon, a daughter of Harry and Evelyn Thorpe. She married John Siddell on Feburary. 28, 1961, in Carlyle, and he survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Debbie (Siddell) Corzine and Pennie Siddell, both of Huey; two sons, Jerry Siddell of Boulder and Gary Siddell and special friend Deb Kuhl of Boulder; a beloved granddaughter, Amy Corzine of Huey; and two brothers, Ronnie and Donald Thorpe of Centralia.

Mrs. Siddell was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judy Sills.

She was a homemaker who loved working in her flower gardens and spending time with her family, friends, and her three precious puppies.

Private services will be held.

Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle is handling the arrangements.
