Benedict Tebbe

Benedict "Dix" Tebbe, 88, of Breese, died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Breese Nursing Home.

He was born August 16, 1920, in St. Rose, to Henry J. and Elizabeth (Trame) Tebbe and they preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, Anton, Leo, Emil, Aloys, Otto and Joseph, Tebbe; sisters, Rose, Fredericka, Caroline Tebbe, Christine Nordmann and Elizabeth Ribbing.

Survivng is a sister, Marie Detmer of St. Rose; and a sister-in-law, Helen Tebbe of Breese.

He was a retired farmhand and a member of St. Augustine Church in Breese.

A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 15, at 10:30 a.m. A St. Augustine Church in Breese with Fr. Ben Stern officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery.

Moss Funeral Home in Breese is handling the arrangements.
