M. Lisa Ballard

M. Lisa (Robben) Ballard, 57, of Brownstown, died on Wednesday, March 4. 2009, at her residence.

She was born on September 11, 1951, in Breese, a daughter of Robert and Gertrude (Niehoff) Robben. She married Gene Heinzmann and they later divorced.

She is survived by her siblings, Robert "Bud" Robben and wife Penny of Fairfield, California, Patricia Hager and husband John of Kansas City, Mo., Gary Robben and wife Shirley of Flower Mound, Texas and Jean Van Dorn and husband Eugene of Carlyle.

She had worked at Teco Trucking in Vandalia, Fin and Feather in Keyesport and lastly at the Keyesport American Legion.

In honor of her wishes, she will be cremated and a private burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in Carlyle.

Arrangements are being handled by Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle.
