Sara E. Spies, 20, of Trenton, died Monday, February 23, 2009, at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

She was born December 29, 1988, in Breese to Kurt and Kimberly (Douthit) Spies and they survive in Trenton.

In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her sister, Jessica Spies; twin brothers, Mark and Matthew Spies, all of Trenton; maternal grandparents, Carl and Helen Douthit of Bingham; paternal grandparents, Trudy and Adrian Toennies of Trenton.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Louis "Buddy" Spies.

She was currently attending ITT Technical Institute and was a 2007 graduate of Wesclin High School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton.

Funeral Services were held on Friday, February 27, at 10 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Fr. Gene Kreher officiating.

Burial followed in Trenton Cemetery.

Moss Funeral Home in Trenton handled the arrangements.
