Esther A. Tame, 86, of Trenton died Friday, April 20, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

She was born May 6. 1920, in Aviston, to Joseph and Bertha (Poettker) Litteken and they preceded her in death. She married Eugene H. Trame on June 5, 1945, at St. Francis Church in Aviston and he preceded her in death June 23, 1986.

Surviving are sons, Eugene "Slim" (Tens) Trame and Paul "Pete" Trame both of Trenton; daughters, Mary Lee, Theresa Atwood and Barbara Trame all of Trenton; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Maurice (Bonny) Litteken of Highland and Leo (Pat) Litteken of Albers; sisters, Laura (Edgar) Kapp of Highland, Irene Holtgrave of Aviston, Ruth (Clarence) Kapp of Highland, Bertha (Andy) Thole of Aviston, Jane (Joe) Gebhart of Aviston and Judy (Jim) Boehler of Aviston.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, John Trame; daughters, Joan Trame and Nancy Trame; brothers, Jerome "Ken" Litteken, Joseph Litteken, Stan Litteken, Leonard Litteken and Chester Litteken.

She was a retired cook from Trenton House restaurant. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Sodality and past president in Trenton and the Trenton VFW Auxiliary.

A Funeral mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 23, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty officiating

Burial followed in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton.

Moss Funeral home in Trenton handled the arrangements.
