Theresa A. Grawe

Theresa A. Grawe, 97, of Breese, died Sunday, December 21, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

She was born January 24, 1911, in Carlyle, a daughter of Jacob and Mary (Meisner) Kleber. She married Henry "Hank" Grawe on February 20, 1941, in Carlyle and he preceded her in death September 28, 1997.

Mrs. Grawe is survived by her children, Frank (Ruth) Grawe, Tom (Barb) Grawe all of Breese, Mary Huelsmann of Trenton and Agnes (Butch) Wellen of Highland; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter; a brother, "Pete" Kleber; and a son-in-law, Jerry Hollenkamp.

Mrs. Grawe was a member of St. Augustine Parish and Altar Sodality. She was a homemaker.

A funeral mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Chuck Tuttle officiating.

Burial followed at St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese.

Hempen Funeral Home in Breese handled the arrangements.
