John J. Haas, 82, of Trenton, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese.

He was born December 14, 1925, in Trenton to Frank and Mary (Baer) Haas and they preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, Frank, Arthur and William Haas; and sisters, Margaret Woher, Flordina Kern and Virginia Haas.

Surviving is a sister, Loretta (Dick) Holubek of Trenton; and a sister-in-law, Marie Haas of Caseyville.

He retired as a Laborer and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, November 28, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Gene Kreher officiating.

Burial followed in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton.

Moss Funeral Home in Trenton handled the arrangements.
