Jacqueline J. "Jackie" Vice, 78, of Trenton, died Friday, July 25, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

She was born July 12, 1930, in Granite City, to Roy and Ruth (Abrams) Schneider and they preceded her in death. She married David Vice on February 12, 1955, in Troy, and he preceded her in death on September 22, 1989.

Surviving are her children, Sue (Larry) Ulrich of Troy, Roy (Terri) Vice of Memphis, Tenn. and Tom (Mary) Vice of Highland; seven grandchildren, Ben, Greg, Melissa, Brittany, Nathan, Heather and Eric Vice; a brother, William (Gloria) Schneider of Pocahontas; and a sister, Carol (Rowe) Huggins of Hot Springs, Ark.

She was a homemaker and she enjoyed playing cards, reading, traveling, and most of all her grandchildren. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton, Trenton American Legion Auxiliary, Trenton VFW Auxiliary and Eastern Star-Trenton.

Funeral Service were Monday, July 28, at 11 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Debbie Melzer officiating.

Burial followed in Valley View Gardens in Edwardsville.

Moss Funeral Home in Trenton handled the arrangements.
