Raymond L. Garrison, 58, of Breese, died Sunday, September 7, 2008, at his residence.

He was born December 11, 1949, in Fairfield, to Barney and Barbara (Lund) Garrison and they preceded him in death. He married Mary Kruep on December 30, 1967, in Carlyle and she survives in Breese.

Also surviving are his children, Melissa Garrison, of Cincinnati, Ohio and Scott (Sandy) Garrison, of Flippin, Ark.; a step-daughter, Dottie (Robin) Brewster of Shiloh; three grandchildren, Tyler Ray Garrison, Tyler James Schwartz and Austin Brewster; a brother, James (Theresa) Garrison, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sisters, Virginia Berry of Carlyle and Diane Gainer of Decatur; his mother-in-law, Gertrude Kruep of Breese; his father-in-law, Robert (Margaret) Kruep of Salem; and brothers-in-law, Larry (Linda) Kruep of Jacksonville, Fla., John (Shannon) Kruep of Virginia, Rich (Laura) Kruep of Breese, Charlie Kruep of Breese and Bruce (lantha) Kruep of Breese.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by, brothers Alvin "Sonny" Garrison, Charlie Garrison and Woody Garrison; and brothersin-law Alfred Berry and James Kruep.

He was a retired laborer.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
