Dorothy Wiedle Orr

July 19, 1934 - July 8, 2008

Dorothy Wiedle Orr died at Odyssey Hospice in Tucson, Ariz.

She was born at home in Shattuc, to Lewis and Helen (Heinrich) Wiedle.

She was sur­vived by her hus­band, Wayne Orr; a son, Marten Williams; stepdaugh­ters, Patty, Annette and Nadine; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Catherine (Paul) Bal­lah, Marilyn (Jim) Nordike and Barbara (Bob) Johnson; brothers, Carl (Nancy) Wiedle, Fred (Lynette) Wiedle and Ray (Ali­son) Wiedle. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Williams.

Under her sen­ior picture in the 1954 Carlyle High School yearbook, it said "a friend to all" and indeed she was. The quote by Mother Theresa "We can do no great things, only small things with great love" exemplified her life.

A Celebration of her Life will be held 10 a.m. Satur­day, July 19, at Grace United Methodist Church in Tucson. Graveside services were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Eastlawn Cemetery, in Tucson.
