Emelia A. 'Millie' Timmermann, 99

Emelia A. "Millie" Timmermann, 99, of St. Rose died Tuesday, June 8th, 2004, at Carlyle Healthcare Center in Carlyle.

She was born on May 23rd, 1905, in St. Rose, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Tebbe Schrage, and they preceded her in death. On April 15th, 1925, at St. Rose Catholic Church, she married Victor Timmermann, and he preceded her in death on July 28th, 1983.

Surviving are three sons, Richard Timmermann of Breese and Maurice and Tom Timmermann, both of St. Rose; a daughter, Marian Luebbers of Carlyle; and 22 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Victor, Jr.; a grandson; five brothers, Fred, Frank Jr., William, Albin and Victor Schrage; and three sisters, Elizabeth Streator, Celia Huelsmann and Irene Woltering.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Rose Church, St. Rose Altar Sodality, St. Rose Development Club, St. Rose Golden Age Club, charter member of Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718 and St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary and an avid quilter and card player.

A funeral mass was on Saturday, June 12th, at 11 a.m. at St. Rose Church, with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating.

Burial was in St. Rose Cemetery. Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Breese
