Bertha T. Eilers, 93

Bertha T. Eilers, 93, of Breese died Sunday, April 4th, 2004, at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese.

She was born on June 10th, 1910, in St. Rose, the daughter of Anton and Anna Dust Deimeke, and they preceded her in death. On August 29th, 1928, at St. Rose Catholic Church, she married Joseph Eilers, and he preceded her in death on September 5th, 1984.

Surviving are a son, Walter Eilers of Breese; a daughter, Rita Voss of Breese; 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and a sister, Clara Ratermann of Breese.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Eilers; a granddaughter, Diane Eilers; a sister, Louise Feltrop, and two brothers, Alois and Raymond Deimeke.

Mrs. Eilers was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Altar Sodality.

A funeral mass was celebrated today, Wednesday, April 7th, at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese, with Msgr. Vincent Haselhorst officiating.

Interment followed in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery.

Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
