Augusta A. Litteken, 83

Augusta A. Litteken, 83, of Trenton, died Sat., August 16th, 2003, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland.

She was born on August 7th, 1920, in St. Rose, the daughter of Bernard and Margaret Lampe Haselhorst, and they preceded her in death. On April 30th, 1946, at St. Mary Church in Trenton, she married Ralph Litteken, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 3rd, 2000.

Surviving her are four sons, Rich, Ron, Larry and Bob Litteken, all of Trenton; two daughters, Rose Gates of Highland and Carol Lee of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, Martin Haselhorst and Herman Haselhorst, both of Trenton; and Fr. Vincent Haselhorst of Belleville; two sisters, Catherine Heap of Belleville and Tillie Haselhorst of Trenton; 14 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were five brothers, Greg, Al, Dick, Steve and Karl Haselhorst; and a sister, Marie Zurliene.

Mrs. Litteken was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Trenton, Trenton VFW Post 7983 Auxiliary, Trenton Senior Citizens and Catholic Fraternal Life.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 19th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, with Fr. Vincent Haselhorst officiating.

Interment was in St. Mary Cemetery in Trenton.

Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
