Agnes T. Kampwerth, 91

Agnes T. Kampwerth, 91, of Beckemeyer died Wednesday, Nov. 26th, 2003, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese.

She was born on February 20th, 1912, in Beckemeyer, the daughter of Herman and Gertrude Fehlker Lammers, and they preceded her in death. On February 6th, 1935, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer, she married Lawrence Kampwerth, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 9th, 1961.

Surviving are a daughter, Helen Vahlkamp of Carlyle; a son, Stan Kampwerth of Bartelso, and 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sons, Marcel, Leroy, Lawrence "Turk", Thomas and Cyril Kampwerth; one grandson; two brothers, Leo and Vince Lammers; and two sisters, Adeline Beer and Helen Timmermann.

Mrs. Kampwerth was a retired cook from Mater Dei High School in Breese. She was a member of the Altar Sodality and St. Anthony Catholic Church, where her funeral. mass was celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 29th, at 10 a.m., with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating.

Interment followed in St. Anthony Cemetery in Beckemeyer.

Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
