Robert H. Thoele, 61

Robert H. Thoele, 61, of New Baden died on Thursday, Jan. 23rd, 2003, at his home.

He was born on Dec. 18th, 1941, in New Baden, the son of William G, and Annie J. Frerker Thoele Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, William Thoele Jr. of New Baden; and a sister, Lucille Koontz, also of New Baden.

Mr. Thoele retired from Wilbert Vault Co. in New Baden in March 2001. He was a member of Teamsters Local 50 and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He also was a member of St. George Church in New Baden where his funeral service was held on Saturday, Jan. 25th, with Monsignor James Blazine and the Rev. Don Blaes officiating.

Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden handled the arrangements.

Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden.
