Edward Kohrmann, 79

Life-long Bartelso businessman Edward H. "Fritz" Kohrmann died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese on Monday, April 19th, 1999, at the age of 79 years.

Born in Bartelso on March 11th, 1920, he was a son of Edward and Emma Hollenkamp Kohrmann. On May 30th, 1945, in Bartelso, he married Elizabeth "Elsie" Theising, and she survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Ron Kohrmann and James Kohrmann of Bartelso and Mike Kohrmann of Brownsburg, Ind.; seven grandchildren and three geat-grandchildren; six brothers, Virgil Kohrmann of Carlyle, Victor and Joseph Kohrmann of Germantown and Robert and Ralph Kohrmann of Bartelso and one sister, Mrs. Marcella Kohnen of Germantown.

Two brothers, Louis and Richard Kohrmann, preceded him in death.

Mr. Kohrmann was owner and founder of Kohrmann Electric in Bartelso, which has been in business for over 48 years.

A veteran of World War II, he was a member and past commander of Bartelso American Legion; member of the Bartelso Catholic War Veterans; member of District 23 Past Commander's Club and member of Carlyle VFW.

Also of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 702 and National Electrical Contractor's Association.

Rev. Ted Baumann will officiate at services at St. Cecilia's Church in Bartelso at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22nd. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown from 4 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m Thursday.
