Mrs. David (Rosie M.) Kendall of Junction City Rt. One died Friday, Aug. 7th, in a traffic accident of Jolliff Bridge road near Centralia. She was 60 years old.

A daughter of Salon and Josephine Ford Powell, she was born in McCracken County, Ky., on Jan. 4, 1927. She married David Kendall in Metropolis on Nov. 24, 1944, and he survives.

Other survivors include five sons, Willie Kendall of Trenton, David G. Kendall of Centralia, Richard Kendall of Oakland, Calif., Steve Kendall of Junction City and Royce Kendall of Wamac; five daughters, Mrs. Linda Hamann of Caseyville, Mrs. Faye Von Hatten and Mrs. Mary Lohman, both of Trenton, Mrs. Diane Bill of St. Louis and Mrs. Hazel Taylor of Germantown; 25 grandchildren; and two brothers, James Powell of Richmond, Va., and Henry Powell of Paducah, Ky.

Mrs. Kendall had lived in Centralia since 1974.

Her funeral was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the Garnier and Sons Funeral Home in Centralia. Burial was in Clark River cemetery in Symsonia, Ky.
