Services for Victor F. Tebbe, 71, of St. Rose were held Saturday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose Church in St. Rose. Rev. Carl Pimeskern officiated with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Tebbe died July 20 at his home in St. Rose.

The son of Herman and Clara Fischer Tebbe, he was born in St. Rose Township on Feb. 10, 1912. He married Minnie Gnaedinger in St. Rose on Nov. 9, 1938, and she survives.

Other survivors include his mother of St. Rose; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Pingsterhaus of Germantown, Mrs. Jane Vandeloo of Carlyle and Mrs. Martha Giller of Beaver Prairie; four sons, Jerome Tebbe of Alhambra, David Tebbe of Highland and Albert and Ralph Tebbe of St. Rose; 28 grandchildren; six brothers, Edward, Raymond and Walter Tebbe of St. Rose, Hugo Tebbe of Breese, Herman Tebbe of Long Beach, Calif., and Michael Tebbe of Whittier, Calif.; and two sister, Mrs. Anna Gnaedinger of Pierron and Mrs. Clara Liening of Pocahontas.

Mr. Tebbe was a member of the men’s Sodality of the church, St Rose Development Club, Catholic Knights and Ladies of Illinois and Breese Senior Citizens.

Moss Funeral Home of Breese was in charge of arrangements.
