Carlyle resident Mrs. Adolph (Mary F.) Spenner died at her home Saturday, July 23.

The daughter of Fred and Marie Jording Lange, she was born in Hoffman on Feb. 23, 1897. She married Adolph Spenner in Hoffman on Aug. 2, 1924, and he survives.

Other survivors include one son, Ervin Spenner of Centralia, and one daughter, Mrs. Walter Defend of Centralia; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Hemminghaus of Hoffman and Anna Lange of Carlyle.

Mrs. Spenner was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton where her funeral was held today (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Peter Kurowski officiated with burial in the church cemetery.

The Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle was in charge of arrangements.
